The Perks of Being A Wallflower

So far I am still really into my book. Since I'm doing my blog on the school computer this time, I'll show you what Charlie, Sam, and Patrick look like.

That by the way, was the my favorite part that I wrote about in my previous blog. Sam is to the left, Charlie is in the middle and to the right is Patrick. I am on page 93 and Charlie has just mentioned something that's very personal to him. Throughout the book Charlie speaks about his favorite person who is his aunt Helen. His aunt Helen is hardly mentioned in his house. And Charlie finally admits that his aunt was molested. He never mentions by who because he keeps that to himself.

I really want to also speak about a part that kind of gives you an idea of why the book tittle is The Perks of Being A Wallflower. Charlie Sam and Patrick all go to a  basement party. There Charlie gets offered a brownie. Not a regular brownie but a magic brownie.
                                     

I'm pretty sure you all know what that is. Charlie gets really stoned and starts letting loose and gets comfortable with everyone at the party. As they are all having side conversations, Patrick says something about Charlie that he says he'll never forget... "He's a wallflower". Patrick tells him, "you see things. You keep quiet about them. And you understand. Charlie understands what Patrick is saying because earlier during the party Charlie finds Patrick and his boyfriend Brad in a room hooking up. This caught him by surprise  because no one really knows about them and its because Brad is on the football team and cant have anyone knowing.
